Welcome back! It’s now been three months since my second collection, The Haunted Houses She Calls Her Own, hit bookshelves, and somehow, in the lovely chaos since April, I never posted a full blog about the collection’s release. So I just want to take a minute and say loud and clear:
I have a new collection out in the world! *jumps for joy again and again*
First off, you can pick up a copy directly from my publisher, from Bookshop, from Amazon, and of course, from any local bookstore! I’m a big fan of Riverstone Books in Pittsburgh, since that’s where I did the launch for The Haunted Houses She Calls Her Own!
Needless to say, It’s been a wildly busy and fun few months. I did a book tour for the collection, traveling from Pittsburgh to Doylestown to Atlanta to San Diego, and it was truly such a wonderful time seeing everybody on the road. I also did a number of virtual events as well as interviews with awesome podcasts. Thank you to everyone who came to my events, both virtual and in-person. It absolutely means the world to me!

Featuring sixteen stories, three of which are brand-new to the collection, The Haunted Houses She Calls Her Own received two starred reviews, one from Library Journal and one from Booklist. It was also featured at Bloody-Disgusting, Literary Hub, Reactor, Book Trib, and more. Honestly, it’s been so exciting to see the collection make its way into the world over the last few months.

In the strange landscape of publishing, it can sometimes feel like books come and go so quickly, which can be a disheartening for all of us, as both writers and readers. So please know that it truly means so much to me that so many of you continue to support me and my work. I never, ever take it for granted, so thank you thank you thank you.
Happy reading!
